Mountain View Marching Band Camp

Band Camp dates are required for all members of the MVHS Marching Band
(all dates are also published on the Band Calendar)

All Students are required to carry a water bottle on their body during all rehearsals.
"Camel-Back" or other types of "wearable" water containers are required.

Student Leadership, Color Guard and all Percussion

August 10-13, 2015 - Student Leaders, Percussion and Color Guard:  9:00 am - 4:00 pm

New Members

August 13, 2015 - All New Members:  10:00 am - 4:00 pm

We will get a head start on learning and reviewing the basics of marching
Wear athletic shoes; comfortable clothes; sunscreen and hats
bring a lunch and water bottle *

Full Band Camp

These Important Dates are Required for All Members

Band Camp weeks run from Monday through Thursday, leaving a long weekend for family and friends.

August 17-20 - All Members:  8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Wear athletic shoes; comfortable clothes; sunscreen and hats
bring a snack, lunch and water bottle(s) *

August 24-27 - All Members:  8:00 am - 4:00 pm

August 31, Sept 1, 2 - All Members:  2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

August 31 - Band Family Picnic from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm

We will begin regular after-school rehearsals on
the first day of school.  All after school rehearsals begin at 2:30 pm and end at 5:00 pm.

 * For the health and safety of our members, all students are required to have a "wearable" water bottle such as a "camel-back" or canteen that will remain attached to the student during marching rehearsals.
